Incidence analysis COVID-19 in Primorsky krai

The article presents morbidity rates taking into account age, clinical form, territorial and social factors, as well as data on mortality and lethality from coronavirus infection in Primorsky Krai for 2020-2023. The morbidity rate was determined by the strain circulating in Primorye, and the largest number of COVID-19 cases occurred in 2022. The older age groups prevailed among the sick children. The cities of Vladivostok and Ussuriysk recorded the highest incidence of COVID-19 in comparison with other territories for the entire period of the pandemic. During the analyzed period, the structure of clinical forms of coronavirus infection has changed. If since the beginning of the pandemic, the incidence of pneumonia was 23.5 %, in the subsequent years it was 0.2-0.4 %. Mainly it was observed damage to the upper respiratory tract in the form of acute respiratory diseases. The largest number of cases with annual mortality and lethality were registered in 2021.
