English as a mediator in the internationalization of medical education: challenges and opportunities

The article discusses an important aspect of the internationalization of Russian medical education - teaching international students in the English language. Development of educational standards and work programs of disciplines of the main professional educational program, adapted to the conduct of the educational process in a foreign language is an important condition for the successful promotion of the university on the international market of educational services. However, at present this process has a number of features that can be interpreted as both positive and negative aspects.
