The ensemble as a semantic-semiotic system

The article deals with the ensemble as semantic-semiotic system concepts and theoretical and methodological framework of the study. The author writes that in an artistic ensemble, or ensemble type of composition, each of the parts is a completely independent shaped integer, that is a separate composition. Consequently, the essence of the ensemble is to coordinate in space (ontologically) and time (conceptually in the process of perception) of different, often contrasting forms of different origin, structure and style. They may be perceived as simultaneously or sequentially, one by one, without losing of its artistic qualities. This ensemble is fundamentally different from other types of interaction: communication elements of the same shape together (harmonic type composition), the interaction of elements of different art forms in a single composition or artistic sintetizma (inseverable unity of content and form elements). The author concludes that the modern exhibition and exposition ensemble can be described as combining the fundamental characteristics of exhibitions and expositions, artificially created intertextual subject-dimensional structure consisting of monuments of history, culture and art, compositionally organized system of scientific and conceptual artistic and plastic construction for the purpose of broadcasting a significant cultural and aesthetic information.
