Free access

The article presents an analysis of crisis-management mechanisms and business-model adaptation strategies applied by industrial suppliers operating under conditions of economic volatility. The study integrates theoretical approaches to crisis management, digital transformation, business-model modernization, and the development of operational resilience, all of which determine an enterprise’s ability to maintain stable performance under increasing external pressure. The analysis examines key adaptation directions-enhancement of crisis-response procedures, process digitalization, reconfiguration of the business model, and diversification of supply-chain interactions-and their differentiated effects on operational stability, flexibility, and recovery capability. The findings show that process alignment, a structured organizational model, clear role distribution, digital tools, and resilient supply chains shape a controllable operational system that mitigates disruption risks, compensates for constraints, and preserves execution predictability in uncertain environments. The study substantiates that resilience emerges when a comprehensive technological, organizational, and managerial configuration is in place, enabling coordinated responses to crisis factors and supporting the adaptiveness of the operational model. The article is of practical relevance for executives of industrial enterprises, crisis-management professionals, and researchers examining supplier resilience and business-model transformation under economic instability. Within the framework of professional practice related to the development of managed operational frameworks and the support of business system resilience, solutions within the Immigration and Business solutions for Entrepreneurs, Investors and Talents domain are also considered, aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and highly skilled professionals in the international scaling of their activities and the formation of sustainable business frameworks.
