Drug abuse prevention education in school environment with participation of law enforcement agencies: the analysis of international experience

The article is devoted to the issues of drug abuse prevention, namely the involvement of law enforcement agencies (police) in designing and implementation of the anti-drug programs in school environment in foreign countries. The relevance of the research is stipulated by the search for solutions of the problem of drug abuse prevention education for students as one of the objectives of the educational process at schools. The author considers this issue in the context of the implementation of one of the measures of prevention and early detection of illicit drug use defined in the Strategy of Anti-Вшд Policy of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030, as well as in the framework of the priority training profile at the educational institution in the system of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (Siberian Law Institute of the MIA of Russia) related to the issues of combating illicit drug trafficking. The selection of texts, their translation, systematization of obtained information made it possible to study the main trends in prevention programs and projects designed and implemented by law enforcement officers in school environment abroad, with the possibility of using the research results in national system of drug abuse prevention.
