Basic opposing pair good/bad in the Khakass and Russian language consciousness

The article provides a comparative study of the image of the world in the linguistic consciousness of native speakers of the Khakass and Russian languages based on the basic evaluative opposition good/bad (chakhsy/homay) according to the materials of the free associative experiment with Khakass respondents and the Russian regional associative database. The article reveals the dominance of associations of an anthropocentric orientation in the perception of good/bad characteristics, their connection with the image of a person in general, as well as a more diverse set of reactions in the Russian language consciousness that specify the nominations of family and interpersonal relationships, types of activity, etc.
