Сulture-specific vocabulary and translation as a gnosiological problem (based on «Skipping Christmas» by John Grisham)

The article focuses on the current trend of foreigning while translating, when a translator no longer tries to find a translation of a term in the target language. As an example the author refers to translations of names belonging to the lexical-semantic field of food.
