In the era of globalization, the need to learn a foreign language has become particularly important in many countries, so the topic of bilingual education is currently actual. Bilingualism contributes to the formation of a unified intercultural space throughout the world. In this article, the authors focus on bilingual education for preschoolers in Vietnam. The modern preschool education system in Vietnam is characterized by the diversity of kindergartens, the widespread study of English and the widespread use of bilingual education for preschoolers. Most international schools and kindergartens in Vietnam, where instruction is conducted in Vietnamese and English, are located in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. This article describes the structure and number of English lessons in preschool education in Vietnam during bilingual education, reveals the main approaches and methods for developing effective foreign language communicative competence, and also analyzes the main features of bilingual education in the field of preschool education in Vietnam. Learning a foreign language involves mastering phonetic, lexical and grammatical aspects, therefore, based on this, the structure of a lesson lasting 25 minutes is being developed. The lesson is based primarily on working with vocabulary and phonetics, using various types of gaming activities, as well as using flash cards and songs. Working with grammar is carried out only by demonstrating and memorizing grammatical structures, but a native speaker teacher cannot explain all the nuances or answer questions due to ignorance of the Vietnamese language.
