Biography of the chair of processing facilities

The article gives the information concerning the foundation of the machine-experimental station at the Vologda Dairy Farming Higher School, the latter being the first one in Russia. The station allowed forming the Chair of Processing Facilities at the technological faculty; the authors give the names of the chair heads, name the disciplines of the training process and the main directions of scientific research of the chair staff
