Biochemical bleeding in patients with open reconstruction of abdominal aorta

The article presents the results of studies of the plasma - platelet hemostasis in patients who underwent surgery on the abdominal part of aorta. The research included 96 patients. All of them underwent open aortoiliac reconstruction: 32 patients with aneurysm of the infrarenal part of aorta, and 64 patients with Leriche’s syndrome associated with developed chronic critical limb ischemia. It was confirmed that consumption coagulopathy was present in all of these patients already at preoperative stage. It was determined that the degree of fibrinolytic activity by the end of the surgery did not exceed the critical value. An algorithm of infusion - transfusion therapy in surgery of infrarenal abdominal aorta was developed.
