Biotesting of cellulosolytic bacteria as a safety assessment against ruminant rumen protozoa

The article presents the results of a study of the impact on the body of protozoan microorganisms with cellulosolytic activity and the biologically active substances they synthesize. In the experiments, the microorganisms taken from rumen of cattle, small ruminants and bisons were used. The toxicological evaluation of a cultural suspended mixture and supernatant of microorganisms was carried out by the express method on the culture of protozoa of hypotrichs Stylonychia mytilus. It was found that the studied strains while exposing with infusoria Stylonychia mytilus did not influence them negatively (oppressively).
