Brazil: constitutional and legal basis of post-secularism

The article examines the historical features of the development of the Brazilian state that determined its structure, identifies the constitutional and legal foundations of Brazilian post-secularism, analyzes the statistics of anti-religious crimes and judicial practice in cases of violation of religious freedom. The purpose of the study is to identify the risks of legislatively securing a special position for one confession in a state with many religions.
