Targets for the Modernization of the School’s Career Guidance System

Career guidance occupies an important place in the modern education system of Russia. Training of future personnel is one of the tasks of an educational institution. That is why the state should form an effective career guidance system at various levels of the educational process. At the moment, the state system of career guidance for youth in a general education institution is at the stage of formation and completion. The Government is developing new models of interaction in order to increase the effectiveness of career guidance activities. However, there are currently certain problems with the functioning of the system in question. The lack of direct interaction between schools and enterprises in the form of specialized training classes, field trips, and students to enterprises lies both in the absence of regulatory legal acts for direct interaction and in the absence of employees who organize the process of introducing young people to the enterprise in a simple and understandable language. The author pays special attention to the problem of forming a career guidance system for young people in a general education institution, taking into account the need to increase the effectiveness of the system under consideration.
