Holistic approach as the methodology of the pedagogic researches: to the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.S. Ilyin

The article deals with the contribution of V.S. Ilyin and his followers in the development of the methodology and theory of the holistic approach in designing the educational systems. There are substantiated the reasons of the relevance of the holistic approach as the methodology of the pedagogic researches. There are analyzed the variants of the implementation of this approach. The author gives the examples of its violations in the theory and practice of education. The article presents the author’s comprehension of the essential characteristics of the integrity of the educational process and the prospects of the further development of the issue.
