Value of education fundamentalization and its role in learning university students in the conditions of the educational system modernization

We discussed the value of education fundamentalization and its role in the learning process of university students, as well as revealed major differences of academic education from the holistic education, which had been named fundamental in the article. In addition, the methodological and philosophical foundations of modern science in the conditions of modernization of the educational system were described, as well as their main directions - democratization, humanization, intensification (particularly more complete use of the problem method of teaching), fundamentalization, informatization, competence, integration of educational process, inclusive education. We concluded that the value of education is an essential tool for cultivation of the necessary human qualities. Education is a unique transfer of social development objectives, knowledge bases and methods in the complex of students’ and future professionals’ abilities and capabilities.
