Checklist as a contemporary form of organizing work with children with disabilities in speech therapy classes

The article discusses the features of using checklists for provision of assistance to children with severe deviations in speech activity. We have substantiated the significance of this tool, which allows reducing the level of anxiety of pupils in situations of uncertainty, developing the ability to plan and build children's actions, communication skills of preschoolers with speech defects, alternative communication and global reading skills. The checklist provides visual support for remedial and educational activities and the educational environment: it allows structuring the spatiotemporal organization of speech therapy classes, as well as the daily life of preschoolers. The article presents examples of compiling checklists for organizing regimen for children with speech disorders, as well as speech therapy classes. We have developed practical recommendations for compiling a checklist.
