Digital identity of a schoolchild: potentialities and security of digital socialization

The state-supported trend of digitalization has made pedagogical research related to the socialization of modern children relevant. The extensive digitalization of primary and supplementary education for schoolchildren actualizes for learners the range of cognitive opportunities and new challenges associated with the use of information technologies. The ability to safely apply online technologies, to understand and control the content of one's digital profile is becoming a demanded quality of a successfully socialized person. Maintaining an active life on the Web, including pursuing career ambitions, will require future high school graduates to have not only basic technological but also legal knowledge to manage their own personal data. Based on the analysis of a wide panorama of educational, technological, and legal problems, the results of an interdisciplinary meta-analysis of the schoolchild's digital profile are reflected and presented as an iceberg model. Recommendations are given on the selection of software tools for identifying and aggregating the student's digital footprint, as well as reliable sources of filling his digital profile.
