On the basis of the typology of the professional tasks there are revealed the digital components of the competencies of the university lecturers, supporting the formation and development of the students’ skills, that are required by the digital society. The digital components of the competencies of the lecturer are interpreted as the general purpose one, that do not complete, but transform the lecturer’s ability to solve the professional tasks.
