Russian scientific journals in construction

The comparative analysis of work of thirteen Russian scientific construction journals included in StateCommission for Academic Degrees and Titles and having high impakt-factors of Russian Scientific CitationIndex's for 2011 is carried out in article. Some indicators were taken for a basis of the analysis, such as impact- factor, number of self-citings, etc. Furthermore, on the basis of their change during the period from 2008 to 2011 features of development of journals were marked out.The problem of the Russian science connected with small number of publications in such analytical bases as by SCOPUS, Web of Science, etc. is studied. Consequences of this problem are low positions of the Russian higher education institutions in the international ratings.
