In this аrticle аn attempt to recreate a portrait ofGrand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich Romanov (K.R. - his stage name). Along with literature and theater K.R. devotedly loved and music, beautifully played the piano, tried his hand at composition creativity, personal friends with P.I. Tchaikovsky, arranged musical-literary evenings, but really made a significant contribution to the cause of Russian music building, while from 1892 to 1908 as vice-chairman of the Imperial Russian Musical Society. In this status, K. R. supervised the construction of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, attended Divisions of IRMO, welcomed the opening of the building of the future Saratov Conservatory and many others. etc.
