The article highlights the importance of activity-orientated technologies in training teachers for the implementation of the educational function. The author specifies the conditions for the formation of professional skills in the field of education as well as the requirements for the process of pedagogical education. The experience of teaching pedagogical disciplines involving reflexive interaction of participants in the educational process is described. The indicators of student advancement in the acquisition of educational competence are given.
