Declared and undeclared relations of transport university students to educational activities, social environment and themselves

The authors carried an empirical study of the declared and undeclared relations of a transport university students to educational activities, social environment and themselves. The sample consisted of 218 people from different courses and departments. The results showed the features of socialization of students, their attitude to different spheres of life. It was revealed that academic activity does not arouse interest, students are not focused on studying, study is not motivated by significant needs. In particular, about 1/5 of the undergraduate students of all departments from 1st to 4th courses are not satisfied with the study conditions. The features of dis-satisfaction among students of different courses in other areas are revealed. In percentage terms, the differences in courses are not significant. Girls have significantly higher dissatisfaction rates than boys in three social spheres: the situation in society (state), the sphere of medical care and the opportunity to spend holidays. At the same time, relationships with classmates and close people are especially significant for all students of the sample. Students are characterized by a high level of self-esteem and satisfaction with their personality.
