The category of urgent problems of modern pedagogy of higher education includes the search and justification of forms and methods of assessing the levels of formation of professional competencies of undergraduate students in the conditions of the implementation of learning models based on real experience. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of evaluation activity in relation to the competencies of students of “Psychological and pedagogical education” (in particular, the ability to understand the principles of modern information technologies and use them to solve the tasks of professional activity). The article concretizes the concept of “demonstration work” and gives the justification for the use of this type of work as a means of assessing the level of formation of professional competencies of future teachers having mastered the discipline “Project activity” as a structural component of the a posteriori learning model. The necessity of employers' participation in conducting an internal assessment of the results of educational activities and the level of training of students under the bachelor's degree program is substantiated. The obtained results can be used in the process of organizing students' education.
