Dissolving hexaiodoplatinate potassium in dimethylsulfoxide was synthesized dihydrosulfide bis(dimethylsulfoxide)platinum (DMSO) 2Pt(SH) 2 (I). In the molecular crystal of complex I, there are two types of crystallographically independent molecules of cis-dimethylsulfoxide ligands are coordinated to the Pt atom a sulfur atom (Pt-S DMSO 2.227(2), 2.274(2) Å, Pt-S(H) 2.300(2), 2.330(2) Å).
