Dynamics of Sectoral Identity Formation among University Students Involved in Social Project Activities

The article focuses on diagnosing the level of sectoral identity formation among university students involved in social project activities. The study aims to identify the dynamics of motivational and value-based com-ponents of identity before and after student participation in project-based learning. An adapted professional identity scale was used as the diagnostic tool. The empirical base included students engaged in social projects both within academic disciplines and through extracurricular activities. The results showed that students with a high level of involvement in project activities demonstrate a more mature level of sectoral identity. A positive dynamic in identity indicators was recorded following participation in social project work. The study concludes that social project activities are a pedagogically effective means of developing sectoral identity in the university educational environment.
