Distant pre-educational environment in the structure of training library and information professionals

The article offers a solution to one of the most serious pedagogical problems - different “input” level of common cultural competences of students in library areas of training. It presents the results of a sociodiagnostic study of the reasons of inadequate preparation of entrants to teaching in the University in the disciplines that shape cultural competence, in particular, foreign language and computer science. A solution to this problem with the use of modern information technology is offered. The article reveals the idea of a distant pre-educational environment. It seems its model and determines the conditions of its application in library education. The role of information and bibliographic activities in the creation of the distant educational environment of pre is examined. The possibilities of applying outsourcing and open network of information resources in distant pre-educational training of librarians is discussed.
