The article deals with the peculiarities of the teaching methods of the Russian language as a foreign language at a pre-university stage during the last calendar year. There are stated the means and methods of the distance work with foreign students. There are analyzed the peculiarities of the online forms of education in the diachronic and synchronic aspects. There is stated the specific character of the stages of online education of foreign students.
