In this article the author raises crucial for the modern stage of social development issues related to professional self-determination of the younger generation and self-identity in General. And also, by analyzing the positive experience of the past in the field of professional orientation of students, reveals the importance of this activity in the formation of socio-full of personality. Highlighting the issue of how to create a psycho-pedagogical conditions for the implementation of a comprehensive system of measures aimed at assisting in the guidance of youth, the author points to inadequate organization of work on the formation of life and professional selfdetermination of adolescents in educational institutions. Relying on the possibility of additional education, the author refers to positions that assist students in career choice and also defines the use of additional lessons on different types of creative activity, as a condition of success in the field of professional self-determination of students and education a number of positive personality traits.
