Pre-professional teacher education of schoolchildren in the modern conditions

The article deals with the substantiation that the training of future teachers is a long process related not only with the acquiring of necessary knowledge and skills but also with the development of the value and semantic basis of the activity. There are given the results of the monitoring of the pre-professional teacher training in all the regions of the Russian Federation. There are revealed the most widespread forms of the organization of the pre-professional teacher education of schoolchildren. The author describes the difficulties of the process.
