Accessibility of high-quality secondary vocational education in the arctic region: assessment of the current situation by the subjects of education

In the context of solving urgent strategic tasks of socio-economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, issues related to the improvement of human resources potential of priority geostrategic territories included in this macro-region of the country are of particular importance. The effective resolution of this issue directly depends on the quality of implementation of secondary vocational education programs. According to the logic of the current legislation, it represents, among other things, the degree of compliance of educational activities with the needs of the persons in whose interests they are carried out. The article presents the results of the implementation of procedures for assessing the availability of high-quality secondary vocational education in the Murmansk region by representatives of two groups of participants in educational relations - students themselves who have reached the age of 18 years, and parents - legal representatives of underage students. These results allow us to determine the priority areas for improving the accessibility of the level of education in question.
