This article is devoted to the problems of formation of musical art, various schools of music during the Renaissance in Western Europe. One of the key features of this complex process was the interaction of culture, science, various kinds of art, as well as changes in the spiritual culture of different European countries. Spiritual culture of this period, reviving the antiquity, the ideas of humanism, directed personality for excellence, creativity, and creativity, but it had to be a lot to learn, to work, look for the most effective to achieve excellence. These changes significantly affected and at music schools, which were supposed to withdraw from the scholastic development of musical art, find new ideas to fantasies, emotional reflection of the world, searching for perfection, to comprehend the true values and ideals of beauty, love, freedom, without which there is no longer a true revival.
