Two conceptualization of afterlife in ancient culture

Based on the fact that the picture of the world of antiquity included two different representations of the group - religious and mythological painting (belief in gods and souls) and a rational view of the world, which includes both the ontological representation of the early Greek thinkers, as well as more complex concepts of reality and Plato Aristotle, the author examines the conceptualization of the afterlife, inherent in a particular picture of the world. Ancient Greeks's representation of the world formed under the influence of religious and mythological or rational outlook and contain supplementing each other elements. However, gods of the Plato are essence which helps a person achieve true immortality, make the right choice. At the same time religious and mythological outlook forbade the personality reflect, work over himself. He was to take part in the rituals to get rid of the fear of death.
