Motor coordination qualities as the basis of training young karatekas

The article discusses some features of forming and developing motor coordination abilities of young sportsmen during karate classes. It is a modern and popular sport, a type of oriental martial arts based on the skills of unarmed self-defense. While mastering the key techniques and practicing karate exercises, young men develop vital physical abilities - motor coordination qualities. The main purpose of their improvement is to achieve a high level of physical development in students. The results of a pedagogical experiment in evaluating the impact of training loads on young karatekas and optimal planning of exercises are presented. It is concluded that the formation of sports and technical mastery depends on the functional capabilities of the body and the degree of development of a sportsman’s physical qualities, the key of which are motor coordination qualities.
