John Lennon as a writer of fiction: reception and translation in Russia

In this article the world-famous musician John Lennon is presented as a writer of fiction. Despite the increasing popularity and relatively large number of editions and translations of his books, they so far have not been the subject of thorough literary analysis. The author of the article gives a few biographical facts concerning J. Lennon's literary works, a brief description of his prose poetics and mainly focuses on the issue of publications, reception and translation of these works in Russia.
