SciUp App Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

1.1. The developer of the SciUp application is Mobile Reading Technologies LLC.
1.2. The application does not require the user to provide any personal or confidential information.
1.3. In order for the application to be able to save and open journals, articles, and other publications, display them in the application lists, and perform searches within them, system permission to access device files is required.
1.4. To improve and ensure stable operation, the application may send anonymous statistics about the use of the application.

2.1. Users may register an account within the application.
2.2. When registering an account, the user specifies the following data: first name, middle name, last name; email address; password; country; gender (sex).
2.3. When registering an account, the user gives their consent to the use and processing of personal data for the purposes of registration, account confirmation, as well as the operation of the services and functionality of the SciUp application, within the framework of the SciUp user agreement.
2.4. Data Protection. When transmitted, data is encrypted and sent over a secure connection.
2.5. Account Management. Through the app interface, users can modify their first name, middle name, last name; email address; phone number; and password.
2.6. Account deletion. Users can delete their account directly in the app. The user can also request account deletion via the web interface.
