The article embraces the results of the latest research on the linkage between subjective wellbeing and external factors, personal life circumstances. The authors also reviewed the studies on the predictors of students' subjective wellbeing including study satisfaction, academic involvement, academic performance, family socioeconomic status, mechanisms of coping with stressful situations.
