Facilitation as the mechanism of development of the subject-orientated educational space

The article is a statement of the problem of using socio-psychological and pedagogical mechanisms of organization of subject-oriented educational space. The basic concepts of the subject-oriented approach in education are considered. The method of facilitation is designated as one of the main mechanisms for the development of the educational environment in modern society. The features of the facilitator as a subject are revealed in comparison with other concepts in this terminology. The principles of facilitation, the tasks of the facilitator in the educational process are indicated. The manifestation of the phenomenon of facilitation in the development of students is examined in two aspects: socio-psychological and pedagogical. The realization of the concept of facilitation in higher education presupposes the creation of a number of pedagogical conditions for the comprehensive development of the personality of students as subjects of the educational space: an increase in the degree of subjective significance of instruction for students as subjects of educational and professional activity; Congruence of the teacher; Psychological safety of the educational environment; Psychological freedom for students and teachers.
