The article deals with the substantiation of the significance of the phenomenon of “dialogue” for the theory and practice of the general musical education. There is revealed the potential of the musical art in the aspect of the implementation of the dialogue in the content of the general musical education. The author considers the theoretical aspects and the methodological ways, providing the most efficient implementation of the dialogue in the content of the general musical education.
