The philosophical problem of consciousness and personality in the pedagogical aspect

The article is dictated by the weakening of the attention of the pedagogical community to the problem of personality formation and transformation of consciousness in the context of the declaration of the competence paradigm in the modern education system. Based on the analysis of the intellectual dispute between the philosophers E.V. Ilyenkov and D.I. Maidansky, as well as with the involvement of highly critical views on modern pedagogy by G.V. Lobastov, the author proves the relevance of the philosophical foundations of the pedagogical problem of personality formation.
