Formation of personal value orientations: from theory to educational technologies

The problem of the formation of value orientations of the individual, in particular, among the younger generation, in modern realities is of particular relevance. This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of discourse in the field of value priorities of modern youth; defines the role of values in human life; shows the experience of humanist teacher V.A. Sukhomlinsky in the orientation of pupils to spiritual and moral values. The foundations of methodological approaches (axiological, systemic, activity-based) are also revealed as a strategy for studying this phenomenon. A special place in the work is given to the mechanisms of value orientations that have developed to date in pedagogy, which come into conflict with the general crisis situation of the spiritual and moral development of modern society. The interrelations between the theoretical foundations of the study of values are carried value orientations of personality and algorithms of modern educational technologies. Based on the research of psychologists and teachers, the changes occurring in the emotional and value sphere of the personality of adolescents, the features, positive qualities and characteristics of the personality of generation Z and the mechanisms of popular educational technologies relevant for children of the digital generation are revealed.
