The formation of the research culture in students majoring in clinical psychology

The article reveals the topical issue of the research orientation of educational activities with a view to revitalize the scientific interest among students majoring in Clinical Psychology. It is noted that an expert with a high level of research culture is ready to perform the effective professional activity in favor of the personality, the society, and the state. The study proves the strong degree of interaction between students and medical institutions during the research activities. It allows one to develop the research culture along with the clinical thinking of young professionals. The paper updates the formation of the research culture among students through the analysis of the educational content (based on video lectures) and the image culture of a teacher. The latter is the novelty of this study because the analysis of the teacher’s image culture implies comprehension of his pedagogical activities and mentality as a whole. The article describes the different forms of involvement of students majoring in Clinical Psychology in scientific matters, including learning and research activities as a part of the educational process and scientific work as the extra-curriculum.
