Development of ethnic art culture in students in the process of learning felting

In pedagogical science there is a tendency to introduce the foundations of ethnic art culture into the content of education. This article reveals the relevance of the development of ethnic art culture in students, its significance in modern educational process. We have proposed the educational conditions for the effective development of ethnic art culture in students. Currently, much attention is paid to the revival of traditions and values of national culture. Felting as a kind of arts and crafts is a means for development of ethnic art culture in students. Teaching felting to students helps to increase the motivation to engage in arts and crafts which is considered as part of ethnic art culture. The study of the Buryat national traditions and values also contributes to the development of the components of ethnic art culture.
