Formation of communicative competence at different levels of qualification of students of economic universities

Training of a specialist in a modern university of economics is impossible without competence formation in the professional sphere and foreign language proficiency. The effectiveness of such training becomes possible only when the foreign language training is correctly organized at all stages of three-level training. It involves the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to confirm professional activity. This also includes redirection of the entire educational process to improve the communicative competence as a necessary component of the professional activity of students of non-linguistic universities. The article considers the content, essence and structure of the concept of "communicative competence", justifies the need for active formation and development of various types of its components (forms) in the process of foreign language training at different levels of qualification: bachelor`s degree programme, master`s degree programme, postgraduate programme.
