Subject of article - methodological aspect in the course of formation of the competitive Russian engineer. The main subject - a role of methodological knowledge in the course of training of highly skilled, competitive engineers. The work purpose - the analysis of the methodological approaches used in the course of formation of professional readiness, professionally significant personal qualities of future competitive expert. The methodology of carrying out work consists in search of set of teoretiko-methodological approaches on the basis of which the principles and ways of formation of readiness of students for highly skilled, competitive engineering activity are defined. Results of work contain the state-of-the-art review of the methodological approaches used in the course of formation of the competitive Russian engineer. Range of application of results is process of training of highly skilled, competitive engineers. Conclusion. The set of the teoretiko-methodological approaches used by preparation of engineering shots promotes generation of educational result in the course of formation of highly skilled, competitive experts.
