Formation of cross-cultural competencies among students as a condition for social and professional adaptation in world markets

The article considers the necessity and relevance of training competitive specialists with cross-cultural competencies to work and interact with representatives of different national cultures. The dynamics of multinational companies in the world is analyzed. The analysis of foreign universities that implement a program of teaching cross-cultural competencies of their students is carried out. Based on a survey of students of economic specialties of PSNIU, a conclusion was made about the lack of knowledge of a foreign language for effective interaction with representatives of other national cultures. The essence of cross-cultural competencies is described. As a result of the research, options for the formation of knowledge necessary for working in international companies among students in Russian universities are proposed.
