The formation of leadership qualities and skills to work in a team of senior pupils

This study is devoted to the problem of finding effective methods for the development of the personality of senior pupils and the formation of their leadership qualities. The authors have identified twelve main leadership qualities, representing three groups: systemic, communicative and internal. The paper presents a program for the development of personal qualities that can contribute to the implementation of the leadership potential of senior pupils. For the formation of leadership qualities, effective forms and methods were used. After the implementation of the program for the formation and development of leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team, senior pupils increased self-esteem, communication, organizational, and leadership skills. The development of the leadership qualities of senior pupils in the general educational organization was facilitated by a set of classes involving the use of such forms of activity as social volunteering and such methods as psychological training, participation in promotions and different events, as well as the design of social projects.
