Formation of intercultural communicative competence while teaching foreign language in non-linguistic universities

The article deals with the issue of the formation of intercultural communicative competence that is considered to be a necessary condition of the successful communication with the representatives of other cultures. There is suggested the use of the three-stage model of the formation of intercultural communicative competence. The model allows to structure and plan the kinds of activities at the stages of the process of teaching foreign language.
