Development of cadets’ motivation for professional military activity at institutes of national guard forces command of the Russian Federation

The article justifies the development of motivation for professional military activity in the process of training cadets at institutes of National Guard Forces Command of the Russian Federation. The works of Russian military specialists in the field of professional military training are analyzed in the study. Based on personality-oriented approach we have defined the pedagogical conditions of developing motivation for military professional activity. The formation of cadets’ motivation for military activity is determined by the need to improve the efficiency of their professional activities, to meet the constantly increased requirements for the quality of training future officers, to develop their skills and professionally significant qualities. We have identified a set of measures of pedagogical process aimed at improving its efficiency, such as self-actuating of soldiers; inclusion of the ideas of military and professional heritage in the content of educational work with cadets; cultural-mass and religious work
