Formation of professional and creative competencies of students-choreographers within the framework of the project "Creative people"

This article substantiates the relevance of applied tasks of choreography students within the framework of the project "Creative People" at the Moscow State Institute of Culture. Using the example of competencies defined in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education in the field of formation of a cultural specialist in the direction of training 52.03.01 "Choreographic art" in the profile of training "Pedagogy of folk stage dance", the process of performing and pedagogical practice of both a student and a choreographer teacher is analyzed. The essence of the project is revealed and the significance of the project is actualized, the features and pedagogical conditions of the project are considered. The structure of all stages of the creative project, content elements, including analysis and control of the study are given. Also, the creative project considers traditional teaching methods and includes new modern information technologies of creative activity of choreographers. The article analyzes and presents the results of the study. It is confirmed that the use of the project method effectively affects the level of motivation of students, and the formation of professional and creative competencies among students of the University of culture.
