Formation of professional consciousness of future music teachers in the context of performance training in the choral conducting class

The article deals with the problem of development of future music teachers' professional consciousness during their choral conducting training. The author discusses two stages of choirmaster training: first - technological, when students learn manual techniques (the lack of a real instrument, that is, chorus is the main difficulty of this stage), the second one is aimed at development of a managerial function (special role at this stage goes to development of volitional, leadership qualities through dialogue between students and a teacher).
